Hi, my name is Dagny Nystuen.  I am an American and will, together with the rest of our staff, try to help you have a great time at Camp Little America in July/August, 2012.  I’ve worked with Camp Little America for nineteen summers and I’ve also gone to and worked at camps in America, among others Skogfjorden which is a camp in Northern Minnesota where American kids go to learn Norwegian.

The staff and I will do our utmost to create an American environment.  One way of doing this is to show you how kids in America celebrate special days: like Halloween - when you dress up to either scare or be funny and Thanksgiving - which is the celebration that was started by the pilgrims in 1621 to show how thankful they were to the Natives for the help they received to survive their first year in the Colonies or Fourth of July which is the Declaration of Independence day when they celebrate being free and independent by having parades and picnics with lots of fun activities.   Hopefully there will be some American kids your age that you can talk and play with.  I hope to see you at Camp Little America this summer.

Sincerely,

Dagny

Leirer i USA.:

CAMP SKOGFJORDEN  -  USA

Følgende priser gjaldt for 2011.:
2 uker  $ 1740.-
4 uker  $ 3425.-
